ACTING FOR BUSINESS is the perfect course for elite undergraduate and graduate level business schools.

How Much Does It Cost Your School's Reputation When Your Graduates ...

  • Don't command respect when they speak?

  • Blow presentations?

  • Fail to close sales?

  • Can't summon the eloquence or presence to impress their colleagues, clients, or superiors?

All That Can Change in an Instant!

Your business students can now acquire the same techniques that stars of the stage and screen use to:

  • SELL

Captivate audiences of one or more people and persuade them to action.

  • COMMUNICATE

Translate complex ideas into clear, simple, compelling language and behavior.

  • LEAD

Gain control of their bodies, voices, and intentions to emanate executive presence.

Why Should Businesspeople Take an Acting Class?

Because now, more than ever, we live in a media-saturated age where success is defined by social proofing.

Clients want to see the real person behind the brand, service, or product.

They want to get to know this person through TED Talks, board meetings, town halls, CNBC ... the list goes on.

In this age, communication is credibility and credibility is currency.

Those who can be at their best—consistently and joyfully—come out on top.

The rest sink to the bottom.

Acting for Business Naturally Develops the 7 Cs of Executive Presence in Each Student.

  • COMPOSURE: Speaking Honestly (even when—yes, especially when—it’s difficult to do so). Radiating Values. Maintaining a Sense of Calm Under Trying Circumstances. Minimizing Distractions and Inspiring Good Impressions Through Appearance and Deportment.

  • CONNECTION: Genuinely Listening to Others. Acting from Empathy. Engaging Teammates and Clients. Building Consensus as Required. Inspiring Trust. Building Relationships.

  • CHARISMA: Authority Through Vulnerability. Acting from Integrity, Warmth, and Compassion. Asking Questions. Developing Mission-Based Loyalty.

  • CONFIDENCE: Leadership via Self-Awareness. Standing by Your Vision. Inspiring Trust. Uplifting Teammates to Perform at Their Best. Seeking Feedback.

  • CREDIBILITY: Giving Credit Where Credit is Due. Taking the "I" Out of Team. Saying What You Mean and Meaning What You Say.

  • CLARITY: Communicating Effectively Through Various Modes (in-person, via presentations or email, etc.) Eliminating Ambiguity.

  • CONCISENESS: Being Direct. Cutting Out Fluff. Respecting Other People’s Time, Workloads, and Expertise.

"... insightful, generous, uncompromising, and endlessly inspiring."

-- Pulitzer Prize winner Stephen Adly Guirgis

"I created this specialized version of professional actor's training to supplement, not supplant what your program teaches its business students.

Having worked in academia, corporate, and artistic settings, I know how to uphold the spirit and mission of your department and institution while empowering your students to be their best selves.

The result is always a credit to your school.

Before beginning work, I'll speak with you or your program coordinator at length to understand and support your organization's values and orientation."
